Light of Truth Church
At Light of Truth Church, our faith is based on the Holy Bible and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are classical Pentecostal believers, committed to the full message of the Gospel and the active work of the Holy Spirit as seen in the New Testament Church.
We believe God has revealed Himself through His Word and through His Son, Jesus Christ. Our desire is to follow Him in truth, love, and the power of the Holy Spirit.
- One God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
We believe in one true and living God, the Creator of heaven and earth. God is eternal, holy, loving, and perfect. He exists in three persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. These three are one God, equal in power and glory.

Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Deuteronomy 6:4 - The Fall of Humanity and Sin
We believe that all people are created in the image of God. However, through disobedience, sin entered the world, and humanity became separated from God.
All people have sinned and need salvation. Sin brings spiritual death, but God offers forgiveness and new life through Jesus Christ.

Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23 - Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again on the third day.
Through Jesus, we receive forgiveness and new life. He is the only way to salvation and the Lord of our lives.

John 14:6; Romans 10:9; Acts 4:12 - Salvation by Grace Through Faith
We believe salvation is a gift from God, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. It is not earned by good works.
When we repent and believe in Jesus, we are forgiven, made new, and become children of God.

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is true, trustworthy, and our final authority for faith and life.
Through the Bible, God teaches us, guides us, and helps us live in truth.

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, made up of all believers who have faith in Jesus.
The mission of the Church is to:
• Worship God
• Preach the Gospel
• Make disciples
• Serve others in love

Ephesians 1:22–23; Matthew 28:19–20 - Water Baptism and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit
We believe in water baptism by immersion as a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ.
We also believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, which empowers believers for holy living and effective witness. In classical Pentecostal belief, this is often accompanied by speaking in tongues as the initial evidence.

We believe the Holy Spirit is God, the third person of the Trinity. He is a living Person who teaches, guides, convicts, and helps believers.
The Holy Spirit:
• Lives in every believer
• Leads us into truth
• Helps us grow spiritually
• Gives us power to live a holy life

Spiritual Gifts
We believe the Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts to believers for the building of the Church.
These include:
• Wisdom and knowledge
• Faith
• Healing
• Miracles
• Prophecy
• Discernment
• Speaking in tongues
• Interpretation of tongues
These gifts are active today and should be used in love and order.

Fruit of the Spirit
The Holy Spirit produces fruit in believers’ lives:
Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

Living by the Spirit
We believe believers should live daily by the Holy Spirit.

- Divine Healing
We believe that divine healing is provided through Jesus Christ and is available today through prayer and faith.

Isaiah 53:5; James 5:14–15 - The Lord’s Supper (Communion)
We believe in the Lord’s Supper as a remembrance of Jesus Christ’s death and sacrifice. It is a time of reflection, thanksgiving, and spiritual fellowship.

Luke 22:19; 1 Corinthians 11:24–26 - Christian Living and Holiness
We believe believers are called to live holy lives, set apart for God.
This includes:
• Obedience to God
• Love for others
• A life that reflects Christ

1 Peter 1:15–16; Hebrews 12:14 - The Return of Jesus Christ and Eternal Life
We believe that Jesus Christ will return.
There will be:
• The resurrection of the dead
• Final judgment
• Eternal life
Believers will live forever with God, and those who reject Him will be separated from Him.
